Our Head of Global Sales, Costantinos Zenonos, talks about the building blocks of exceptional client experience. In an authentic and uncompromising style, he shares his views on forex education, common "traps" that novice traders may fall into and much more.

1. How do you ensure that your clients have the best possible trading experience?

I am a great believer in supporting the clients whenever they need it and that’s why I provide them with  24/7 support via all communication methods and channels.

Clients need to feel they can rely on you anytime, anywhere and this is what I have always given my clients, independent of their investment capabilities. Of course, “Best trading experience” involves many other aspects, such as trading conditions, pricing and efficient transactions. However, the above would still have a lesser impact if we didn’t care about putting the client first at all times.

2. What is the role of traders’ education in today's FX landscape?

As it is widely known, the FX industry offers opportunities for profit, but at the same time, a significant majority of traders lose money. One of the best ways to reduce this risk is to have a solid financial education. Traders must be trained to gain a better understanding of how the markets work. For that reason, we invest in clients' education from day one.

4. What's your advice to a novice trader? What should they be aware of before they start trading?

My advice to novice traders is first to educate themselves with free courses. There is no need to look for expensive courses or “fancy” course titles. There is plenty of business around traders' education that is often sold at very expensive pricing. In reality, it’s not that easy to find good materials that will make an impact on a trader’s knowledge. 

Start investing your time, then invest your money, but never more than what you are willing to lose.
